Base

Being the first and base design from the collection, BIOS 0 includes a black matte finish with a thin film of solar cells, about one-fiftieth the thickness of human hair, helping charge the car’s advanced battery, and adding to the innovative and sustainable breakthroughs the Grounded crew has introduced to the automotive industry. The solar panelled wrapped BIOS collection starts with the BIOS 0, with more ground-breaking designs after every release.

Solar Matte

The finished black matte of the BIOS 0 not only looks sleek, but it also helps charge and power the car. The incredible 20 micrometer thick film of solar panels wrap around the car, virtually making the car a moving solar panel. These thin films of solar cells are connected to the battery of the BIOS 0 and therefore create energy as long as the sun is up, or even just from artificial light.

Trunk

Unlike the ZedXt, the engine of the BIOS 0 lies in the front of the car, and the boot serves as expected, a trunk. This is for the same reasons as the ZedXt, one is design choice, so as to affect the aerodynamics of the car. The second, due to weight distribution, especially due to the size of the BIOS 0. However, this doesn’t have a lower drag coefficient compare to the ZedXt, the BIOS 0 still competes.

Dimensions

The BIOS 0 has a length of 4.5 metres and a width of 2 metres with a height of 1.5 metres. It can accommodate 5 people including the driver and has a limited load carrying capacity of 450 lbs.
