The ZedXt was one of the first design conceived by, and the first car to be manufactured by the Grounded team. It is its own design and not part of a series of vehicles by the Grounded team. The seamless integration of the doors and windows to the overall look of the car completes its minimalistic and futuristic look, as well as the mixture of mostly metal matte and glossy finish. But for innovation, the most important aspect of the ZedXt besides it’s carefully engineered shape best designed for automotive aerodynamics, is what’s under the hood, or lack thereof.
Unlike the ZedXt, the BIOS 0 was the first design of a series of cars titled the BIOS Collection. Being the first and base design from the collection, BIOS 0 includes a black matte finish with a thin film of solar cells, about one-fiftieth the thickness of human hair, helping charge the car’s advanced battery, and adding to the innovative and sustainable breakthroughs the Grounded crew has introduced to the automotive industry. The solar panelled wrapped BIOS collection starts with the BIOS 0, with more ground-breaking designs after every release.
The successor to the BIOS 0 and part of the BIOS collection, the BIOS 1.0 combines the innovative idea of wrapping a car with the thinnest solar panels ever developed to date and help charge its already revolutionary battery with the carefully designed and engineered shape of the ZedXt. With the continued forward thinking of the automotive aerodynamics team within the Grounded crew, the reduction of drag and wind noise in the BIOS 1.0 surpasses its predecessor’s coefficient. Compared to the BIOS 0 model, BIOS 1.0 can accommodate faster speeds with the same finish, slightly better battery, and a sexier look.
The latest model to come out of the BIOS collection is the BIOS 2.0. This current model not only came out with a more exquisite look, but it also came fully loaded with the latest features and advancements in the automobile industry. To top off the solar film finish, engine battery hybrid, and aerodynamic design, the BIOS 2.0 includes a more advanced auto pilot system, more efficient power distribution to and from the solar films and battery hybrid, and advanced sensors to prevent potential collisions and other vehicular mishaps. BIOS 2.0 is the most advanced vehicle to come out of the Grounded department to date, with more upcoming features to come.
