The ZedXt was one of the first design conceived by, and the first car to be manufactured by the Grounded team. The seamless integration of the doors and windows to the overall look of the car completes its minimalistic and futuristic look, as well as the mixture of mostly metal matte and glossy finish. But for innovation, the most important aspect of the ZedXt besides it’s carefully engineered shape best designed for automotive aerodynamics, is what’s under the hood, or lack thereof.
Along with the black matte accent throughout the design of the car, the doors on both sides have the same finish. This gives the ZedXt an edgier look to go with its glossy finish in other parts of the car. The dark reflective non-tinted windows accompany the black matte as it becomes part of the door’s design and shape.
Unlike most cars, the engine of the ZedXt lies in the back of the car. There are two main reasons as to why this is. Firstly, one is design choice, so as to affect the aerodynamics of the car for the better. The second, due to weight distribution and the center of gravity of the car, leading to better traction for the model. This gives the ZedXt more speed, better traction, and less drag.
The carefully designed ZedXt not only accomplishes an attractive luxurious design, it also achieves a low drag coefficient due to the carefully engineered frame to accompany the overall final look. This makes for a better optimization in driving dynamics, giving the ZedXt better performance on the road and increased fuel efficiency.
